Looking for a feel-good musical movie with, maybe, a little nostalgia value? Jem and the Holograms looks like it just might be the ticket. Featuring a small-town girl who is suddenly famous when her sister posts a video of her singing on YouTube, the movie raises the familiar questions of fame, identity, friendship, and family. “Everyone has a secret identity,” Jem says. “Which one’s the real you?”
Based on the animated TV series of the same name, the movie comes out October 23, 2015 .
