I wasn’t a fan of the last Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, and it’s no secret. I am a bit of a purist I guess, but it just wasn’t the Turtles I’ve known and loved since the black and white comic days. But, there have been many versions of the heroes in a half shell since those days from the cartoons to the original live-action movie starring animatronic Henson creations, so I guess that’s my problem. I just found it a slog to get through, but this new one looks like a lot of fun, and having Stephen Amell star as Casey Jones is just the icing on this amphibious cake.
This new trailer features a ton of new footage sure to excite the fans of the last flick, especially the first glimpse of the villainous Krang. The movie stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams, is directed by Dave Green, and produced by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Galen Walker, and Scott Mednick from a script by Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows enters theaters on June 3rd.
