New Mutated Zombies and Map Revealed for Umbrella Corps
Set in the iconic world of Resident Evil, Umbrella Corps is a new third person shooter that features quick, intense matches in Resident Evil themed battle zones and utilizes the Unity engine developed by Unity Technologies.
New Map
The Antarctic Base of Umbrella was never repaired after the deadly T-virus incident in Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The base is heavily destroyed and features a vertically expansive play area that covers three floors. This forces players to persevere through a fast-paced round of hide and seek. Players can utilize cover points, ventilation ducts, and ladders for their best surprise. The Antarctic Base can easily be considered one of the most tactical maps in the game.
New Zombie
Who doesn’t love a new zombie? Umbrella Corps is adding a special “Mutated Zombie” that can be found in the single player Experiment Mode’s Antarctic Base map and in the Multi-Mission Mode’s SP DNA Hunter ruleset. The mutated zombie is harder to kill than normal zombies because the Zombie Hammer does not work on them and they are also able to render the Zombie Jammer temporarily ineffective against other creatures near the player.
Stronger zombies with power. Great, like I need another reason to wet my bed.
Umbrella Corps will be available digitally for $29.99 on PlayStation®4 and PC on June 21, 2016.
