The brand new Monster Hunter: World Ancient Forest gameplay video lets players step into the world of Monster Hunter
Capcom just released gameplay footage of Monster Hunter: World!!! The Monster Hunter: World Ancient Forest gameplay video takes an in-depth look at how the upcoming game’s quests unfold. The game has players take on the role of a hunter of monsters, completing various quests in a lively living and breathing ecosystem of predators and prey. In the video, we see some of the magnificent creatures we can expect to come across on this newly discovered continent. In particular, we get to see the Great Jargas, which has the ability to swallow its prey whole, and, series favorite, Rathalos.
While hunting these beasts, players are able to utilize survival tools and skills to lure monsters into traps and even pit them against each other in fierce epic battles! The living world, the countless supplies, and the multitude of abilities means players can approach their monster hunting in any style and fashion they can think of.
Monster Hunter: World is set to release in early 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with PC coming at a later date. Be sure to stay tuned for all the latest updates!
