McCafé Frappé in a Bottle is the best way to start the first day of the Roaring ’20s
Technically it’s the second day of the year, but since January 1st is a holiday, this is the REAL first day of the year. I’m not gonna lie, I do not want to be at work today. Mainly because I only have to work today and tomorrow and it just seems weird. [I am referring to my day job, not my gig here]. But as I have bills to pay and am quite set on having an apartment for the foreseeable future, I made it to work. What helped was drinking a McCafé Frappé in a Bottle.
McCafé Frappé in a Bottles are the McCafé Frappés we know and love, but in a bottle. That means no waiting in line, no driving out of my way, and no spilling as I fumble to scan my key card in the morning. It’s the perfect solution to fans of McDonald’s McCafé Frappés.
Each McCafé Frappé in a Bottle is made with 100% arabica bean coffee and it comes in 3 flavors: Mocha, Caramel, and Vanilla.
The downside is that they are a bit high in carbs and sugar with 46g of carbs and 45g of sugar. If you avoid those, then this is probably not an everyday drink for you. However, it does make for a great treat and a nice caffeine boost. I think it works after your morning workouts or you just want to treat yourself. Also, there aren’t many coupons for the bottle version IRL or on the McDonald’s app like regular McCafé items tend to get.
Aside from some of the frills of getting the drink made in person, I believe the McCafé Frappé in a Bottle tastes the same as it does when ordered off the menu. It’s a reasonable price and still cheaper than your typical chain coffee shop prices and available at most retail locations that sell bottled coffees.
While I do enjoy the McCafé Frappé in a Bottle, I cannot say it stands out from other coffees in a bottle. It is good, well-priced, and convenient. But if stacked against other like products, I would always go with what is cheapest. It’s one of those things that does what it does well and sure to please fans of McCafé products. The real downside is its calorie value and noticeable carb and sugar content. If you’re of fan of McCafé products, this is a big win.
I give the McCafé Frappé in a Bottle 3.5/5
