LeAnn Rimes Acoustic Concert Taking Place at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts – News

GameStop, Inc.

Country music superstar, LeAnn Rimes will be performing an acoustic concert at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Since LeAnn Rimes burst onto the country music scene at the tender age of 13, her remarkable talent has captivated audiences around the globe. By the time she was just 14 years old, she had already won a Grammy, setting the stage for a career filled with numerous hits and accolades. Fans will have the opportunity to experience an intimate acoustic performance featuring her timeless number one songs such as “How Do I Live,” “I Need You,” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA). Tickets for this highly anticipated Director’s Pick show, scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, are starting at just $55 and are selling quickly.

LeAnn Rimes made a stunning entrance into the music world in 1996 with her debut single “Blue.” The track rapidly climbed the charts, resonating with country music fans and achieving multi-platinum status. Her powerful vocals, often likened to the legendary Patsy Cline, helped her secure a Grammy for “Best Female Country Vocal Performance.” Remarkably, she also became the youngest artist to win a Grammy for “Best New Artist” at just 14 years old. Additionally, Rimes received nominations for the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award and the title of “Best Country Singer.”

Throughout her career, Rimes has continued to produce an impressive array of hits, including “I Need You,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “Nothin’ ’Bout Love Makes Sense,” and “This Woman.” One of her standout tracks, “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” reached number one in 11 countries, while “How Do I Live” holds the distinction of being the second longest-charting song in history on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her 2017 album, “Remnants,” debuted at number four on Billboard’s Independent Album Chart and included the chart-topping hits “Long Live Love” and “LovE Is LovE Is LovE,” as well as the Top 5 single “Love Line.”

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Rimes has earned three Academy of Country Music awards and 12 Billboard honors. She is also a talented actress, known for her roles in “Northern Lights” and the film “Good Intentions.” Furthermore, Rimes has penned two children’s books—”Jag” and “Jag’s New Friend”—alongside the novel “Holiday in Your Heart” and the inspirational collection “What I Cannot Change.”
