Atlus USA has released a new trailer for the latest installment of SNK’s King of Fighters series, King of Fighters XIV. The latest trailer shows off the fighters representing Team Japan: Kyo, Benimaru and Daimon. These fighters, along with the rest of the cast, look amazingly powerful with the new 3D graphics upgrade.
King of Fighters XIV will include a total of 50 fighters including 31 KOF veterans, a robust single player story mode, improved netcode for online play, spectator mode and replay and battle data saving thanks to the Playstation 4’s online architecture, and is set to be the most balanced, streamlined and competitive fighter in SNK’s history. Retailing for $59.99, pre-orders and a limited number of launch copies will come in a special steelbook game case and the Classic Kyo costume DLC will be free for the week following the game’s launch.
In addition to the Team Japan trailer, Atlus has also released screenshots and a trailer featuring 2 more of the game’s fighters, Mui Mui and Kukri, which you can see below.
King of Fighters XIV will release on August 23 for the Playstation 4.
