Kevin Dillion Talks About his roll as ‘Doc’ in the ensemble new comedy Buddy Games Out Now on VOD and DVD
Kevin Dillion takes on the role of ‘Doc’ in the new comedy Buddy Games out today on VOD and DVD from Saban Film and WWE Studios.
In a long tradition of Alpha Male Madness, Doc (Dillon) along with Bob (Josh Duhamel) and Shelly (Dan Bakkedahl) compete in a wildly outrageous set of events that pits man against nature against alcohol against his own mortality.
During one particular Buddy Games, something goes terribly wrong and an accident keeps Shelly and the boys separated until half a decade later when Bob aka the Bobfather reunites the crew and this time the grand prize is $150,000!
Starring along side Dillon, Duhamel and Bakkedahl are Nick Swardson as Bender, Dax Shepard as Drufy, James Roday Rodriguez as Zane and Olivia Munn as Tiffany.
I got a chance to speak with Dillon about this latest screwball, action comedy, how much fun it was hanging out and playing with your friends in the forest, with room to goof off in adding to the script, why Doc needs to be the focus of the sequel and hint at why I never want a blended fruity drink again…it gets kind of heavy.
Official Synopsis:
Josh Duhamel (Transformers) stars in this wild and hilarious, no-holds-barred comedy. After six lifelong friends have a five year falling out, Bob (Duhamel), aka “The Bobfather”, reunites his pals for the Buddy Games, an insane competition of absurd physical and mental challenges with the chance to win a $150,000 pot. Now all bets are off, as the determined dudes fight, claw, and party for the big bucks in this star-studded bro-fest featuring Dax Shepard (CHiPs), Olivia Munn (Office Christmas Party) and Kevin Dillon (“Entourage”).
