Lead Actress Kerry Bishé and Writer, Director BenDavid Grabinski Talk About Happily Available on VOD and in Limited Release, Friday, March 18, 2021.
Lead Actress Kerry Bishé and Writer, Director BenDavid Grabinski spoke with me about Happily which becomes available on VOD and in Limited Release, Friday, March 18, 2021.
Official Synopsis:
A happily married couple (Joel McHale and Kerry Bishé) discover their friends are resentful of their lustful relationship. When a visit from a mysterious stranger leads to a dead body, they begin to question the loyalty of their so-called friends.
In this perfectly crafted Generation X inspired dark comedy, Writer, Director BenDavid Grabinski gives us everything we needed and more during this morbid year filled with depression and anxiety for most people.
We got a chance to speak with Bishé and Grabinski about the hilarity that ensues throughout the picture and just how McHale, who’s pushing 50 is obsessed with his own abs…that line came out of a place of jealousy, as I freely admit.
This incredible ensemble cast includes Natalie Morales (Parks and Recreation, Abby’s), Natalie Zea (The Other Guys, The Detour), Al Madrigal (The Way Back, Night School) and Stephen Root (News Radio, King of the Hill), who all bring the funny and as a matter of fact, didn’t leave me wishing for anyone in particular to die, like I would in a horror movie.
This movie could not have come at a better time, and for a lack of a better phrase, I am happy that I got to see Happily.
Happily is available on VOD and in Limited Release, Friday, March 18, 2021.
