Legendary actor Jean Reno talks about his role as Victor Dubois along side Ruby Rose in The Doorman.
Jean Reno (Leon: The Professional, Ronin, Wasabi) plays antagonist Victor Dubois to heroine Ruby Rose’s Ali (Batwoman, Orange Is The New Black, John Wick: Chapter 2) in the suspense film The Doorman.
Reno’s Dubois is a sophisticated black market art dealer who tracks down an old associate who has suffered a stroke and partial paralysis. When Dubois and his gang of men who aren’t willing to get their hands dirty discover that the paintings are in the previous dwelling in the same building on Easter Sunday, they proceed to hold a widower and his two children hostage in search of the priceless art pieces.
Little does Dubois know is that the new Doorman, Ali is a retired Marine who suffers from shell-shock and the widower is her brother-in-law.
