British filmmaker, James Kermack Talks About His Big, Crazy, Fun Action Flick, Knuckledust, Available now on VOD.
British filmmaker, James Kermack is a man after my own heart. An ’80s kid who grew up watching movie like Cobra, Commando, The Running Man, I Come in Peace (even though that was early ’90s) and so many other great mainstream and B-Action movies of the decade. It is no wonder why Knuckledust is a flick that I am thrilled to watch more than once.
Knuckledust is bombastic, not in that it is disposable, but it over the top action packed, WOOOOO screaming, knuckle-biting, Oh Sh*t screaming, cackling with laughter fun. In fact, Kermack is one of those guys that I actually want to become friends with we’ll probably end up talking about The Barbarian Brothers for a good 30 minutes…yes, I made a Barbarian Brothers reference.
Camille Rowe makes her film debut in Knuckledust and I would have never known that she was only apart of short films up until this point. I’m still gaga over this flick, just because I had so much fun, although in the interview I keep my composure because Kermack is British and I’m already a wound up Middle Eastern man that would have come across as even more extra if I totally let loose.
Official Synopsis:
Police discover an elite fight club where they find seven underground levels, filled with the dead bodies of fighters from around the world. Only one man is found left alive. The task force has to work out if he’s a mass murderer or the lone survivor?
