Based on the Lee Child’s pulp novel character of the same name, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is more of a lame 
duck than a great action sequel. As I never read the Child pulps, I cannot do a steady comparison between the original vision versus the cinematic release, but there was just something missing in this sequel. It’s like when you under salt a dish and no matter how much salt you after it’s been cooked, it still doesn’t take quite right. That’s this flick.
I always like those actors that like to do their own stunts and keep in great shape well into their 50s, but the movie almost feels like one of those paint-by-the-numbers deal. The art is there, but there is no soul of the artist in the picture and lost my interest so fast, that I really don’t remember much of the characters or the plot.
