What is it about Harley Quinn that makes the fans love her so much? She’s like that super hot, crazy ex-girlfriend that you know is absolutely horrible for you and will ruin your life, but you keep going back to her. Those characteristics are exactly what husband-and-wife team Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring out in this issue of Harley’s Little Black Book.
Only Miss Quinzel could purchase a lantern ring online for over $50,000 by two goofs who found it from a dying alien, then try to destroy the world. The lantern ring is a merger of a black and red ring that could not only end the world but the universe. Luckily, Harley’s imagination is limited by her minimalist desires.
Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern has to now go out of his way to save the plant and stop this lunatic from destroying the world in the most humorous way possible.
This book continues to entertain and keeps me laughing as every page turns. John Timms’ art is the perfect fit for what can easily fall in the old category of the “funny books.”
A series that any Harley Quinn fan needs to keep reading as it continues to get more and more outrageous with every issue.
Harley’s Little Black Book is out today online and at your local comic stores.
