Coming of its victory for Best Picture (Comedy or Musical) at the Golden Globes as well as securing 9 Academy Award nominations (might I add that Ralph Fiennes was robbed), Fox Searchlight has rereleased The Grand Budapest Hotel in a number of cities starting today. Written and directed by Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel might the director’s finest hour, with a comic and wholly cinematic look at the changing face of Europe through the 20th Century. With an extensive ensemble cast including Jeff Goldblum, Adrian Brody, Tilda Swinton (my spirit animal), Willem Dafoe, Harvey Kietel, and many, many more, it’s more than worth taking another trip, or even your first, to The Grand Budapest Hotel.
