It’s looking to be a good summer for vehicular mayhem. Having seen Furious 7 last night, I can confirm that it delivers. But then this morning Warner Brothers released the latest trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, George Miller‘s return to the barren wasteland of the future. Amazingly, Fury Road looks as if it might just out-crazy Furious 7, which is no minor feat. Replacing Mel Gibson in the titular role is Tom Hardy, and he’s joined by Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, and Zoë Kravitz.
But this trailer is just so well put together. Whoever is assembling trailers for Warner Brothers is doing a hell of a job lately. I mean, I seriously disliked American Sniper, but their trailers were so good that I thought it was advertising a different, better movie. That being said, I hope Mad Max: Fury Road is just like its trailer — over the top mayhem on a massive scale. We’ll all get to see just how crazy Mad Max: Fury Road is when it opens on May 15th.
