TNA Original Frankie Kazarian talks about taking on TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and NXT Superstar Ethan Page at TNA Rebellion on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
TNA Original Frankie Kazarian is set for one of the biggest matches of his storied career when he challenges TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and NXT Superstar Ethan Page in a high-stakes three-way dance at ‘TNA Rebellion‘, taking place Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Galen Center on the campus of University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA.
We recently spoke with Kazarian, who shared his thoughts on winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at ‘Bound For Glory‘ last October—an achievement that earned him a title match of his choosing. Kazarian didn’t hesitate when it came to selecting the TNA World Championship, the one major title that has eluded him throughout his legendary career in the company. Despite being a 6-time X-Division Champion and 3-time World Tag Team Champion, Kazarian’s pursuit of the top prize has remained unfinished—until now.
Kazarian, who made his TNA debut back in 2003 and has been wrestling professionally since 1998, also shared what a victory dinner in his home state of California would like. “Come on, I’m from Southern California, it’s got to be In-N-Out,” he said with a smirk, “I normally eat clean but I would be a spokesman for them.”
But standing in Kazarian’s way is a pair of uniquely dangerous competitors. Joe Hendry, who shocked the world in January by defeating Nic Nemeth to become TNA World Champion, has become a pop culture phenomenon thanks to his viral hit theme song, ‘I Believe In Joe Hendry.’ The track climbed to No. 4 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart and made Hendry an international name, culminating in a surprise appearance in the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble and an unexpected WrestleMania 41 showdown with Randy Orton.
Then there’s Ethan Page—a former TNA World Tag Team Champion who has found new life and renewed momentum in WWE’s NXT brand. Though he now competes under a different banner, Page remains a potent threat in multi-man matches like this one. His experience, athleticism, and opportunistic style make him a legitimate wild card in the title bout.
Three very different competitors. One championship. One unforgettable night in Los Angeles, CA. Will Kazarian finally capture the TNA World Championship that has escaped him for over two decades? Or will Hendry’s momentum—and music—keep rolling? And could Ethan Page pull off the ultimate spoiler?
