As today’s date resembles a saying from Star Wars: A New Hope, May 4th has become the official holiday for everyone’s favorite series of films that take place in a galaxy far, far away. Within all the pun-filled hoopla of today, Vanity Fair has a number of new set photos for JJ Abrams‘ upcoming continuation of the sage Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The biggest of these new images is the first clear look at Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, the rumored Sith Lord of the new film. There’s also an onset image of Oscar Issac‘s Poe Dameron, which suggests that the latest Star Wars film is just a galactic remake of Inside Llewyn Davis. All that is missing is Justin Timberlake and the trio could reunite for an updating of “Please Mr. Kennedy.” (Outer Space!) Excitement for the new film continues to gain more and more traction with each look.
Vanity Fair brings us this look at Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie as a chrome stormtrooper named Captain Phasma.
