What was your first Cosplay Experience?
At an actual convention was in 2004, a convention called Ronin-con in Oklahoma City, it was a convention held by the anime group at Oklahoma University. It was a pretty small con and I wore Princess Serenity from Sailor Moon. I met a lot of great people and won the audience pick in the cosplay contest. I was pretty much hooked from that point on =P
How long have you been Cosplaying?
I’ve altered clothing since 98, making my own costumes from scratch since 01, and going to conventions since 04, so whichever one of those you wanna count X3
What is your favorite cosplay you have worn/created?
Oh, that’s a hard one, either Eva from Record of Agarest War 2, Seras Victoria from Hellsing, or the Manga version of Eternal Sailor Moon.
If you had unlimited resources, what Cosplay would you create?
A costume from the MMO Aion, it’s my dream cosplay that I will eventually do, there are just sooooooo many different armor sets I like, I haven’t decided which one to do yet, plus it’s gonna cost me a small fortune, haha.
What advice would you offer others trying to break into Cosplay?
Do your research. There are endless amounts of tutorials and people online to help you, plus reference pictures are everywhere, and material choice can make or break a costume, so research everything before you start.
