What was your first Cosplay Experience?
My first experience with cosplay was at Animazement in Raleigh NC. I cosplayed as C.C. from Code Geass. It was a lot of fun, I felt like a celebrity. Everyone wanted a picture or a hug! It was such an accepting community that I’ve been drawn to cosplay ever since.

Since 2010
What is your favorite cosplay you have worn/created?
So far my favorite I’ve made, (since I normally buy my costumes because my sewing ability isn’t the greatest lol) is my Kanu Unchou. I made the whole costume except the corset, I added on to it. I made the staff and everything. I plan on making a majority of my costumes this year 😀
If you had unlimited resources, what Cosplay would you create?
I would make Amaha Masane from the anime Witchblade. That outfit is absolutely fantastic! Its very detailed and risque, I’m absolutely in love with it.
What advice would you offer others trying to break into Cosplay?
Do it! Go for it! It doesn’t matter your size, color, gender, whether you buy it, make it, anything; if you enjoy it do it! I love it. I don’t see it as a competition and those that do I’m sorry they lost sight of the fact that cosplay is suppose to be fun and a way to connect with like-minded people who love anime, video games, and comics.
