What was your first Cosplay Experience?
I have to say, my first Cosplay Experience was when I was really really young that I started making costumes or dressing up like random characters at school, everyday life, friend’s houses…. everywhere! I didn’t know what cosplay was then until I bumped accidentally into a crowd a few months ago on April of 2014… I looked amazing at the costumes and wished to make one FOR ME not for others like I used to. Then I started later on, after my school ended, to start and making my costume, and that was what I did and on 26th of July I debuted my first Cosplay.
How long have you been Cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying myself for only almost 4 months, since 26th of July 2014. I used to make costumes and props for friends of mine but never really enjoyed or even thought of making my costume till a friend of mine asked me to photograph me… I swear it was really awkward.. I mean cosplaying for the first time makes you feel uneasy.
What is your favorite cosplay you have worn/created?
Till now? Totally Ulquiorra Cifer from the anime Bleach! Ulquiorra was my 2nd cosplay yet I enjoyed it soooo much!!! I still remember that I cosplayed him on 3rd of August at an event close to my house… I enjoyed being my favorite character for a whole day yet it pained my body afterwards ouch! Ulquiorra was my old self and I could totally see myself in him so… yeah I totally will do it again when I remake the sword!
If you had unlimited resources, what Cosplay would you create?
Unlimited resources huh? Ezio… Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood! His design is so delicate and so difficult! The metallic blades of his have so many details that I cannot afford the sources I need to design them now… But if I had unlimited ones… Yeap I would just go straight to work and creat that awesome Assassin costume!
What advice would you offer others trying to break into Cosplay?
Any advice huh? Stay strong, do not mind mean comments and do not get down if people do not like your work at the beggining! Keep going and see forward, keep creating and enjoying your cosplays! Cause cosplay expresses you not others!
