The film debuts in theaters nationwide on July 28.
Attendees will be treated with a live, introduction and Q&A about the film, conducted by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, narrator and star of the film.
“I look forward to giving Angelenos an advanced look at our new film ‘An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,’ and the progress we’ve made over the past decade to solve the climate crisis,” said former Vice President Al Gore. “But our work is only getting started, and I hope the film will inspire people of all ages to join the movement and encourage their families, friends and communities to speak truth to power, help us transition to clean, renewable energy and protect our environment.”
The special screening is open to the public and free to attend. Interested parties will need to sign up for tickets online at Fandango or the Greek Theatre box office. Tickets will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last.
At the event, a limited edition movie themed poster, designed by Studio Number One founded by Shepard Fairey, will be paired with a Fandango movie ticket voucher, and available for purchase. The special bundle will give attendees the opportunity to “pay it forward,” by gifting friends and family a ticket to see the film upon release.
