I have pretty much enjoyed every recent iteration of Sherlock Holmes, so I’m excited to see this new interpretation featuring his little sister. The film seems to be skewed a bit towards a younger audience, but I’m always game for a good mystery. Probably why I watched so much Scooby Doo. Anyway, the film stars Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes on her first big mystery to find her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) as she goes missing. Sherlock (Henry Cavil) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin) come to take care of their little sister and have very different opinions on how to do so. Elona, who is also a genius, decides not to let to absent brothers tell her what to do and decides to adventure on her own to solve the case and find her mother. Elona Holmes releases on Netflix Septemeber 23, 2020. Check out below for more information from Netflix.

About Enola Holmes:
England, 1884 – a world on the brink of change. On the morning of her 16th birthday, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) wakes to find that her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) has disappeared, leaving behind an odd assortment of gifts but no apparent clue as to where she’s gone or why. After a free-spirited childhood, Enola suddenly finds herself under the care of her brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin), both set on sending her away to a finishing school for “proper” young ladies. Refusing to follow their wishes, Enola escapes to search for her mother in London. But when her journey finds her entangled in a mystery surrounding a young runaway Lord (Louis Partridge), Enola becomes a super-sleuth in her own right, outwitting her famous brother as she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set back the course of history. Based on the beloved book series by Nancy Springer, ENOLA HOLMES is a dynamic new mystery-adventure that introduces the world’s greatest detective to his fiercest competition yet: his teenage sister. The game is afoot.
The best way to describe Kevin Fenix is the kid you never tell what the buttons do in video games so you have a chance to win. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video. Fenix will be shooting and making videos here at FanboyNation.
