Plan and execute to win in tactical shooter Due Process is out now for Early Access on Steam
Annapurna Interactive has just release Due Process for Early Access on Steam. It’s a 5v5 tactical FPS game, where each map is procedurally generated to ensure players don’t play the same map twice. From what I gather, players first map out their strategies to predict and stop the other team. The game looks to heavily rely on teamwork and communication, which I think is great for people who have ready squads but can be a toss-up with random players.
Due Process is available now, and to welcome new players the game is 25% off and will come with a free bonus code for players to share for those who purchase the game within its first week. So head over to Steam to get the game, or if you want more information check out Annapurna Interactive’s official press release below:
Los Angeles – Oct. 23, 2020 – Due Process, a tactical first-person shooter developed by Giant Enemy Crab and published by Annapurna Interactive, is available via Early Access on Steam for $24.99. To welcome new players, everyone who purchases the game within the first week will receive a bonus code for free. The title, which just received a new trailer, also has a launch discount of 25% for a limited time.
Due Process is a 5v5 tactical FPS about planning and execution. Maps are procedurally generated, making players learn their enemy, not the layouts. The goal is to make a plan, predict your opponent, coordinate with your teammates and outsmart your adversaries. Teams will alternate between two factions with radically different playstyles, the Enforcers and Defenders, requiring each team to plan, communicate and adapt throughout the match.
“We set out to create a first-person shooter experience that relied more on communication and teamwork, rather than dexterity and map knowledge,” said Giant Enemy Crab creative director Alexander Baard. “Our maps are procedurally generated, so rather than memorize the maps to win, you must make a plan with your teammates on how to attack or defend, and we look forward to watching players have to rely on their strategy and skill.”
