Captain Jake (voiced by Sean Ryan Fox and Riley Thomas Stewart) is back with his merry band of Never Land Pirates in an all-new DVD adventure called The Great Never Sea Quest. As things progress in the new captain’s favor, not only does Captain Hook (voiced by Corey Burton) get in his way, but he has to deal with an unknown adversary, the mer-wizard Lord Fathom (voiced by Malcolm McDowell) who tries to take over the Never Sea by waking a savage, three-headed sea serpent known as the Strake (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker).
Things are never easy, but they are always fun and Captain Jake is up for every challenge like a good hero should be.
What’s great about this DVD set is that not only does it contain the fun family adventure, but also an additional six episodes from the hit Disney Junior series. It also comes with a 3D puzzle ship and if you look below, a handful of downloadable activity sheets for the kids.
I had never gotten a chance to watch any of the previous Jake adventures, but this was a really cute one to start with, especially if you have kids, nieces, nephews or are just a huge Disneyphile.
