Digimon Tri is the sequel to the second season of Digimon Adventures. The sequel is set three years after the original digidestined defeated Malomyotismon and follows their adventures after encountering an all-new digidestined. Together, they face a mysterious anomaly that is causing distortions in both the real and the Digital world. If that wasn’t bad enough, the digidestined deal with the greatest problem of all, growing up.
Several of the voice cast members gave FanboyNation an exclusive interview on what it was like voicing the recent series and even gave some advice for upcoming voice actors. The cast included Johnny Yong Bosch (voice of T.K.), Joshua Seth (voice of Tai), and Colleen O’Shaughnessy (voice of Sora). I used to always say that I’m not the type to fangirl when I see a celebrity. Looking back, I realize I was mumbling and super nervous around the cast to the point where I couldn’t even ask my questions correctly. Joshua and Colleen specifically voiced the characters of one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid and it was an honor to work with them. T.K. is personally my favorite character of the show and Johnny did an amazing job voicing the character.
