Projects we thought may be dead have been rising from their graves this week. First, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies announced Matt Smith to their cast. Now, Fox and Marvel have announced Deadpool is a project that will finally make it’s way to the screen.
According to Variety, Deadpool is slotted for a February 12, 2016 release date. No confirmation yet on whether Ryan Reynolds will return to the role he played in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but fan hopes are high.
For now, we delight in a release date.
