The Coming of the Supermen #2
In my review of the first issue, I said that “‘The Coming of the Supermen’ has Legs” unfortunately, this month it has lost a step. Previously we were introduced to a Jinn, which is not being referred to as an alien and somehow the Supermen from Kandor have met up with Superman and are on a friendly first name basis when the Man of Steel completely avoided them last go around.
Luthor is at his worst as usual trying to steal the blood of Supermen for some sinister reason. The art hasn’t improved much and it seems that this issue was rushed. As great as Neal Adams is, he still needs an inker and there are just too many distractions with the art and writing to fully understand what’s going on.
The Coming of the Supermen is out today at comic shops and online, but I truly hope it gets better.
