Directed by the talented Casey Hushion, known for her work on Broadway hits like ‘Mean Girls‘ and ‘The Prom‘, this production takes the beloved board game and transforms it into a night of non-stop laughs and thrilling suspense.
The cast is phenomenal. Elisabeth Yancey brings comedic flair as Yvette, as John Treacy Egan’s portrayal of Colonel Mustard is a perfect mix of cluelessness and charm. Michelle Elaine sizzles as the seductive Miss Scarlet, Joanna Glushak kills with impeccable timing as Mrs. Peacock, and Tari Kelly is the queen of Black Widows, fueling the flames (you will get the reference once you see the play) as Mrs. White. Mark Price keeps the chaos in check while causing more than his fair share of it as Wadsworth, while John Shartzer and Jonathan Spivey deliver laughs and steals scenes as Mr. Green and Professor Plum. Alex Syiek, Teddy Trice, and Mariah Burks round out the ensemble with their own unique contributions, making every moment unforgettable.
Visually, the production is stunning. Lee Savage’s scenic design are spectacular, especially with how seamlessly they transitioned and Jen Caprio’s costumes transport audiences straight to the mysterious Boddy Manor, creating an immersive experience. Ryan O’Gara’s lighting and Jeff Human’s sound design further elevate the atmosphere, adding to the excitement and suspense of the show.
‘Clue‘ on stage isn’t just a play; it’s a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns that will have you laughing until the very end, requiring a second ticket to catch all the jokes missed the first go around.
