In September of 2013 the Ventura Fairgrounds housed the first Central Coast Comic Con (C4) to a fantastic turnout of genre loving fans, cosplayers, and celebrity guests and this year the event is only going to get bigger and better. On September 12-14th C4 returns to Ventura and some of the event highlights include a plethora of different themed panels, a myriad of guest appearances from comic book stars such as Len Wein (creator of Wolverine, Swamp Thing, etc), writer/creator Steve Niles (30 Days of Night/October Faction), the legendary Sergio Aragones (Mad Magazine), artist Livio Ramondelli (IDW’s Transformers), and artist/writer Mike Grell just to name a few.
Steve Niles (30 Days of Night/Monster and Madman) will be just one of the many comic book legends on hand at C4 2014.
There’ll also be live musical performances by nerd rapper Adam Warrock, Katja, Adam West the Bat, Lolita Dark, and more to energize and entertain the crowds.

Guests from television and film include opportunities to meet and greet Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), Jon Schnepp (The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?/ Metalocalypse), Steve Cardenas (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/ Power Rangers: Zeo ) and wrestlers Rob Van Dam (ECW/WWE/TNA) Katarina Leigh Waters (TNA/WWE) and more.
