Butch Lukic, Jim Krieg & Jeff Wamester Discuss ‘Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths – Part One‘ available on 4K and Blu-ray Combo Pack Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Executive Producer, Butch Lukic, Producer and Writer, Jim Krieg and Director, Jeff Wamester talk about ‘Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths – Part One‘ available on 4K and Blu-ray Combo Pack Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Based on the Marv Wolfman and the late George Perez (we miss you George!) 1985-86, 12-issue limited series, ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths‘ that reshaped the entire DC Universe, Executive Producer, Butch Lukic, Producer and Writer, Jim Krieg and Director, Jeff Wamester have taken this beloved story and created a trilogy series as we discussed ‘Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths – Part One‘.
Initially, Lukic wanted to turn it into a five-part film series but was shot down by the higher ups at Warner Bros. Krieg would have loved the idea of having done a chapter by chapter breakdown, turning it into a 24 episode one season series, but again, the higher ups, wanted a trilogy and that is exactly what we are getting…which, I don’t think I have enough tissues to through 24 episodes of this tear jerker, especially with the relation shown between Barry Allen aka The Flash (voiced Matt Bomer) and Iris West (voiced by Ashleigh LaThrop), the heart and soul of the DC Universe.
We spoke on how significant ‘Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths – Part One‘ is going forward in the Warner Bros. Animation stories, how they were able to pull off an amazing feat with this first installment of the trilogy and that they are still putting the finishing touches on the third installment.
