Gearbox Publishing drops the brand new action-packed Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition Story Trailer
Bulletstorm was a bold innovative first-person shooter from the makers of Gears of War, Epic Games. It’s a fast-paced, foul-mouth, blood bath of a game that was equal parts hilarity and gore. While lacking a bit in the depth of character and story of Gears, it was nonetheless an extremely fun and enjoyable shooter that had enough story and impeccable mechanics that made it a great, and highly overlooked, game. The crudeness of the game is probably where it loses a lot of people. Enjoying yourself as you massacre other humans, and being graded on how creatively you do so is not for everyone. As the gameplay is the highlight of the game, the story is still due a lot of credit. While the tone of the Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition Story Trailer is much heavier than it feels in the game, the plot is as serious and deep as it is portrayed. You just usually don’t feel it because the protagonist, Grayson Hunt, is usually cursing up a storm and making dirty jokes about the bodies he just mauled.
All jokes aside, the story is a compelling tale of redemption and the value of freedom of press. The story is a lot more relevant now than upon its initial release and hopefully, will attract a wider audience and maybe even get us a sequel. I’m personally a bit tired of all the war/military games, not that they’re not fun, but I really enjoy taking on new worlds that aren’t grounded in our reality. Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition is releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam on April 7, 2017.
