Bruce Campbell is best known for playing Ash Williams in the Evil Dead series, but he’s portrayed everybody from Elvis Presley (Bubba Ho-Tep) to, well, himself (My Name Is Bruce). In the upcoming second season of Fargo he’ll be playing a pre-Presidential Ronald Reagan. The new season of the hit series, this time set in the ’70s, is a prequel to season one and stars Patrick Wilson as a younger version of Keith Carradine’s Lou Solverson. It will focus on “the cultural transformation that was going on at that time,” as well as Reagan’s first Presidential campaign, as he stops in Fargo and has interactions with some of the local folk.
This season also stars his Burn Notice co-star, yet it is as yet unknown if they will have any scenes together. Either way, it’s always good to see the most famous chin in television on our screens, even if it is only one episode.
