Chalk this up to wishful thinking from the conspiracy theory realm or someone really let something slip, but an unnamed source who claimed to be close to the situation said that Warner Bros. is looking to bring the Caped Crusader back to television.
This rumor floating around is that Batman will make his debut on what should be renamed the DCW Network as part of the Arrowverse in the Fall of 2017. Along with Batman’s return the rumor states that Batgirl would also be getting her own backdoor pilot on Supergirl as several sources have stated she will make an appearance on the latest DCW acquisition from CBS.
IF this is real, the DCW Network would have to cast a TV version of the hero Gotham needs and that could be something that will shake things up a bit as we already know Gotham on Fox is in a different universe.
Unless there is a confirmation from Warner Bros. and the DCW Network, this is strictly a RUMOR.
