With 10 years of hit movies spanning the course of 18 movies, Marvel Studios have left a massive footprint on the pop culture landscape. Now they’re ready to shake up the very foundation that they’ve built over a decade with their 19th feature, the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. With 10 days before Infinity War opens in theaters worldwide, Marvel Studios has just released a new featurette looking back at the legacy of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far.
As Marvel has become more and more of a pop culture machine, churning out hit after hit at a clip of more than one a year, time has just flown by. It doesn’t seem like 10 years ago that Robert Downey, Jr. first appeared as Tony Stark in Iron Man, or Samuel L. Jackson‘s post-credit cameo as Nick Fury first teasing The Avengers. Marvel Studios has changed blockbuster cinema in so many ways and now we’re entering producer Kevin Feige‘s endgame, the secrets of which have been kept so closely guarded that fans are just grasping at straws to speculate who might survive Joe and Anthony Russo‘s superhero epic.
Marvel Studios will dominate the box office again when Avengers: Infinity War opens worldwide on April 27, 2018.
