Anime Heroes Interview with Bandai’s Senior Director of Brand Strategy Cisco Maldonado
I was fortunate enough to have a chance to speak with Bandai’s Senior Direct of Brand Strategy, Cisco Maldonado. Cisco shows off the upcoming One Piece Anime Heroes figures and we talk a little about what goes into the process of choosing and making figures, as well as collecting and more technical stuff about the toy business. Mostly me nerding out and just trying to learn as much as I can while also trying to get any updates on what else is coming.
I have to say, out of my Anime Heroes interview with Cisco, I did learn a lot about the process that goes into getting these figs to consumers. There’s no one way, method, or source to get these things to the fans. There’s a lot of work and collaboration that has to happen, as well as a bunch of legal hurdles to get through. But as you can see in the video, the journey leads to an incredible destination. The figures look awesome and perfectly capture the Big Three. I can’t wait to get my hands on these figs and start shooting them. I also can’t wait for the stuff they have in store.
While not having any specifics, we know they will definitely be more One Piece Anime Heroes figures and there are more properties coming. They planned the stuff almost two years ago, and it’s going to start rolling out soon. Anyways check out the interview, ogle the figures, get some inside information, and follow us for more nerdy news. You can also head to Amazon to pre-order One Piece Anime Heroes figures.
