Star Adam Woodward talks about his role in ‘Man With No Past‘ co-staring Jon Voight, Charlott Weston and Marton Csokas, available on Blu-ray and VOD today.
Adam Woodward (The Saint) stars alongside Academy Award® winner Jon Voight (Coming Home), Charlotte Weston (The IT Crowd), and Marton Csokas (The Equalizer) in the gripping action-thriller ‘Man With No Past‘. In this pulse-pounding film, a man with no memory of his identity awakens in a strange city, unsure of who he is or how he got there. As he embarks on a desperate search for answers, he finds himself caught in a dangerous web of mystery, ultimately confronting a powerful enemy who will stop at nothing to keep the truth hidden. The journey to uncover his past leads him to a dramatic and explosive showdown, one that will change everything and reveal his true identity once and for all.
Directed by James Bamford and written by Steven Paul, ‘Man With No Past‘ follows Woodward’s character, Ryder, an amnesiac who wakes up in an unfamiliar urban environment with no recollection of his past. Determined to piece together the fragments of his lost memories, Ryder enlists the help of a few trusted allies, only to find himself entangled in a high-stakes conflict involving a notorious criminal gang. As Ryder infiltrates this dangerous underworld, he finds that the stakes are higher than ever, forcing him into a relentless battle that tests both his physical and mental endurance. With time running out, he must face his adversaries and confront a destiny that transcends the boundaries of his forgotten past.
In an interview, Woodward shares how much he learned from his veteran co-stars, particularly Jon Voight, who treated him like a fellow actor on set. Woodward fondly recalls how Voight, always in good spirits, would playfully remind him of the film’s action roots with a lighthearted slap on the back. Woodward also notes how the tight shooting schedule, which felt like a six-month production despite the shorter timeline, helped to foster a sense of camaraderie and urgency that infused the film with an intense energy.
‘Man With No Past‘ is available now on Blu-ray and VOD, allowing audiences to experience this thrilling, high-octane film at home.
We saw the movie just this week on Prime. It was a wonderful action drama and we loved Mr. Woodward. He is a hunk and a good actor. Hope to see more.
