What an unforgettable night at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts! The 90’s R&B Rewind concert on Saturday, December 14, 2024, was a trip down memory lane, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The night was headlined by none other than Dru Hill, but it was All-4-One, the hometown heroes, who really made this show a special one for Southern California.

All-4-One, celebrating their 31st anniversary, put on an electrifying performance that was nothing short of amazing. As Southern California locals, this show was truly a homecoming for them, and you could feel the love and energy from the crowd. Not only did they perform their iconic hits like “I Can Love You Like That”, “So Much in Love”, and the timeless “I Swear” (which still gives me chills), but they also treated us to some holiday cheer with classic Christmas songs! And if that wasn’t enough, they took us on a 90’s journey, paying tribute to other R&B legends from the decade, including Bell Biv DeVoe and Tony! Toni! Toné! The crowd was absolutely buzzing, and their energy made the night feel even more nostalgic.

Then it was Dru Hill turn, and they completely owned the stage as the headliner. From the moment they hit the stage, they had the entire audience on their feet, dancing and singing along. Their set was a non-stop hit parade, featuring fan favorites like “Tell Me”, “In My Bed”, and “Never Make a Promise.” And to close out the night? Sisqó’s “Thong Song”, that had everyone going wild! Their dynamic performance truly showcased why they’re considered one of the defining groups of the ’90s R&B era.

Dru Hill energy was unmatched, and it was clear why they’re still legends in the game. Their hits like “5 Steps”, “How Deep Is Your Love” and “These Are the Times” had the crowd singing every word, while their stage presence and fan interaction made it feel like we were all part of something truly special.

Between the Grammy-winning All-4-One, with over 20 million albums sold and countless accolades, and the Urban Music Icon Award-winning Dru Hill, this show was a celebration of everything we loved about ’90s R&B. A night filled with nostalgia, incredible music, and non-stop energy—what more could you ask for?

If you ever get the chance to see 90’s R&B Rewind, do NOT miss it. This night will go down as one of my all-time favorites!
