On Friday, April 28, 2017, rising Legends MMA sensation and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, Gabby Romero defeated China’s 4th ranked female fighter (number 45 in the world), Bo Meng in Chengde, Hebei, China at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium on the Rise of Heroes / Conquest of Heroes: Chengde fight card.
Romero won via armbar at 4:50 of the very first round, which continues her submission winning ways, as her last bout, which aired on AXS TV ended when opponent Linsey Williams tapped out to a rear naked choke. Unfortunately, for Bo Meng, this was her second loss in a row, the last one being by TKO due to strikes.
