Debonair demon hunter and award-winning action RPG, Victor Vran, is coming to consoles with two now content expansions!
I have never heard of Victor Vran. From the cover images, he looks like an Ed Hardy wearing Van Helsing. After watching the trailer however, it looks like Victor Vran Overkill Edition is the offspring of Van Helsing and Devil May Cry. The action looks fast paced, the abilities look phenomenal, and it looks like a great beat-em up style game. I just hope it’s multi-player, I don’t understand beat-up style games that aren’t. The only reason to play a beat-em up style game by yourself, is to learn the levels so that when you play with your friends you can get all the cool power-ups before they do. Otherwise, why? As I continued learning about the game, there is local co-op for 2 players and up to 4 with online co-op. WIN!
Victor Vran Overkill Edition is being published by leading indie game publisher, Wired Productions, and set to release physical and digital copies of the game for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC sometime this year. We’ll probably find out more after GDC or E3. For players who already own the game on PC, the Fractured Worlds and Motörhead: Through the Ages expansion packs will be available to purchase. The Motörhead: Through the Ages expansion was conceived back in 2014 with all three members of the band as active consultants in its design and development.
That’s all the information we have, but we’ll keep you all posted as we get more. Until then, enjoy the screenshots and rewatch the trailer, and maybe even pick up the PC version if you’re too impatient to wait for the Overkill Edition to release. Is there a Steam sale sometime soon? You’d think they’d have had a Valentine’s Day spectacular for those of us who don’t observe Hallmark’s greatest marketing campaign.
