In case that trailer for Velvet Buzzsaw didn’t provide you with enough nightmare fuel for a Thursday, today also brings us the unsettling trailer for the new horror film from the directing duo of Stuart McKenzie and Miranda Harcourt, The Changeover. Spirits from beyond, creepy children, and the unexplainable all haunt this tease of The Changeover.
Laura (Erana James) is a teenager living with her mother and younger brother Jacko (Benji Purchase) in New Zealand. Their quaint life in the lower class suburbs takes a twisted turn when young Jacko encounters Carmody Braque (Timothy Spall). The stranger provides the young boy with a stamp on his hand, a stamp that unleashes all sorts of unspeakable terrors for the young boy and his older sister. Laura and Jacko are then plunged into the horrific world of the supernatural.
Co-starring alongside Spall, James, and Purchase are two famed New Zealand actresses in Lucy Lawless and Melanie Lynskey. Vertical Entertainment will unleash the horrors of The Changeover into theaters and VOD platforms on February 22, 2019.
