In the continued battle between The Flash and Professor Zoom, it is finally revealed to Henry Allen that Barry is The Flash. Thawne’s obsession with The Flash through the ages has driven him to madness, and in order for him to be the true king of the future he must erase The Flash’s godlike status among the people throughout Central City and the Gem Cities.
It is through that jealousy of the ghosts of the past that Professor Zoom killed Nora Allen, framed Henry Allen, and has done everything to destroy Barry, however, time is up and what happens between Thawne and The Flash is one for the ages.
I am typically a big fan of Robert Venditti’s writing, but for some reason, I haven’t been much of a fan of his Flash run, it comes across as a bit too wordy. He’s an unbelievable writer and I have read most everything he has done for Valiant Entertainment, but I would prefer to read his indie stuff. How Booth and Rapmund are able to produce this art by hand is still beyond me. Everytime I talk to Rapmund he’s ever so humble in his responses, which let’s be honest, if he was boastful about anything, you’d think the world was coming to an end.
