Details on Pokemon Sun and Moon Lengendaries, Solgaleo and Lunala
The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo has finally introduced the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala that can be found in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon respectively. The details were released in a recent trailer that also featured new characters in the game and new features.
Solgaleo the Sun Pokémon
Type: Psychic/Steel
Ability: Full Metal Body
Solgaleo is an emissary of the sun since ancient times and is referred to with reverence as “the beast that devours the sun”. Solgaleo’s body holds a vast amount of energy, and it shines with light when it is active. It has a flowing mane that resembles the sun. Its signature move is Sunsteel Strike, an attack that charges at an opponent with the force of a meteor, disregarding the target’s Ability. Solgaleo’s Full Metal Body Ability is a brand new ability. in the world of Pokemon. The ability allows a Pokémon’s stats to not be lowered by the effects of an opponent’s moves or Ability.
Lunala the Moon Pokémon
Type: Psychic/Ghost
Ability: Shadow Shield
Lunala is the emissary of the moon and referred to as “the beast that calls the moon.” Lunala is constantly absorbing light and converting it into energy. With its wings spread to absorb the surrounding light and glittering like the crescent moon, it resembles a beautiful night sky. Lunala’s signature Moongeist Beam attack releases an ominous beam of light that disregards the target’s Ability. Lunala’ Shadow Shield Ability, also a new ability in the world of Pokemon, allows Lunala to take less damage from an attack that lands when Lunala has full HP.
Just when you thought you were over Pokemon and thought they ran out of ideas after making the God Pokemon, they keep pull you back in with more amazing looking Pokemon. Easily I will be getting Pokemon Sun to capture Solgaleo because the Pokemon looks a lot like one of my favorite Digimon, Saberleomon, and the Sunsteel Strike reminds me of Goku’s Dragon Fist attack. It it just me, or is a Psychic/Steel type an overpowered combo?
