The love was shared this month with two new Yu-Gi-Oh Booster Packs: Extreme Force and Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium, Plus NYTF News!
We’re just two months away from the Month of Kaiba. which is getting me pretty anxious. However, in the meantime, we have plenty new Yu-Gi-Oh! CG releases and news to keep us satiated until then. Plus these packs help duelist to get their Lost Art Cards with their new cards.
Earlier this month, the Extreme Force booster packs exploded into stores. The Extreme Force packs is a 100 card set (48 Common, 20 Rare, 14 Super Rare, 10 Ultra, and 8 Secret Rare) that brings new strategies and unprecedented support for a number of fan-favorite Decks! Extreme Force adds new Mekk-Knights and Mythical Beasts, Rokkets, and Altergeists. On top of support for fan-favorite decks, we got new Link Monsters like Curious, the Lightsworn Dominion, Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights, and the mighty Heavymetalfoes Electrumite that bring old-school strategies to modern-day play. Then there’s Hey, Trunade! harnesses the power of the long-Forbidden Giant Trunade; Contact “C” is a new monster that severely hinders your opponent’s Extra Deck Summons; and Saryuja Skull Dread is a massive Link-4 that boosts Attack and Defense Points, Special Summons monsters from your hand, and draws 4 new cards to replace 3 cards from your hand! With 3 downward Link Arrows and no special Link Materials, it’s the gold standard for generic Link Monsters. Though, I say it’s over powered when used in anyone’s deck other than my own.
And coming this Friday, the greatest villains of the series return in the Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium packs. The Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium pack is a 53 card set (27 Common, 10 Rare, 8 Super Rare, and 8 Ultra Rare) that comes in 5-card packs at the MSRP of $1.99. These packs are devoted to Bandit Keith, Weevil Underwood, and Maximillion Pegasus from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series. We get classic cards like Thousand-Eyes Restrict, Insect Queen, and Barrel Dragon are back in their original forms, but there will also be powered up versions of them as well as many more powered up classics. Fans of the GX series will also be thrilled about the new Ojama and Armed Dragons cards, as well as new Ancient Gears.
