Days 5 & 6:
No, I didn’t forget to do days five and six of Country Heat, they were just repeats of “Country Swing” and “Giddy Up.” There was nothing of value to report other than Thursday was back and biceps while Friday was chest and triceps, with Sunday as the rest day.
Day 8:
Today was the first day of the second week. As you may have guessed, day seven was a rest day, hence the numbering beginning with eight.
We started with a 16 minute breakdown followed by a 27 minute workout with what Autumn calls, “Down and Dirty.” This routine had a few moves repeat moves from the previous two exercises but added a bunch more like bowling and the Breakfast Club…which sadly wasn’t ’80s skip dancing.
The routines are progressively getting harder, but unfortunately I had to stop 10 minutes in as my left knee popped and my left ankle popped twice. I didn’t want to risk it even with the low impact steps. Luckily, I did legs and a good warm up on the stationary bike this morning, but I will go a little slower tomorrow as it will be the same workout followed by the dance conditioning workout.
I’m still moving, only a little slower and some ice on my joints.
