It has gone from leg pain to ab pain in a matter of 24 hours. Country Heat is kicking my butt and I kind of like it! Even though every move I make hurts as my core is getting a killer workout.
Following “Julie” has definitely made it easier on my joints, although standing up after breakfast my hip, knee and ankle all popped at the same time. I didn’t know my hip was locked up, but hey, the joints are moving a little freer, so that is the bonus.
Thursday is back day and the gym is pretty crowded with other “New Year’s Resolutionists.” One of the older gentlemen claims that 24 Hour Fitness will be cleared out by St. Valentine’s Day. He has scoliosis and is the hardest working guy in the gym. Hopefully, I will continue to find the dedication that I once had when I was competing on the mat.
I feel like I am forgetting something, but if I remember, I will add it to the next post. People keep saying that in order to change one’s life, it takes only 21 days of consistency. Let’s see what happens in the next 17 days and if that is true in my case or not.
