Protect Your Tech in Style With the New Solo Backpacks

GameStop, Inc.

Nerds, we are no longer limited to pocket protectors and neon shells, now we can protect our tech in style with a New Solo Backpacks!

Solo Backpacks

I am going to to be honest, even if it hurts my nerd reputation- I never had a pocket protector. I know, it’s pretty surprising; I just never had a need because I had a pouch in my notebook. Also, my Jansport backpack had those little slide slots for pen and pencil organization. I may not have had a pocket protector, but I was definitely not a loose pen loser. Anyway, as we’ve grown and matured, I find that we have to carry a lot more stuff around now. Professionally speaking, I’m lugging around a laptop, tablet, cameras, extra batteries, cables, water bottle, and probably a sandwich. If you see me at a convention I look like I’m going on a multiple-day trek. Let’s face it, Jansport doesn’t do much to help you past high school. I do have a special bag for each of the different things I carry, but that also means carrying multiple bags. But, then I’m carrying a bunch of bags. There are definitely bags big enough to lug my stuff, but organization is clutch when you’re running around making sure you get to your panels and still have time to get your exclusives.

Luckily, the good people at Solo have developed a new line of backpacks to cater to our needs. There are two models of Solo Backpacks to help us protect our tech: the Solos Rival Backpack and the Solo Everyday Max Backpack. Each designed for the safe transportation of your tech gear from the unpredictability of travel and commuting. Both Solo Backpacks are designed for high carrying capacities and also have compartments 17.3″ laptops; I personally can’t use a laptop that isn’t big enough for a numpad. The Rival Backpack also boasts a hards-helled zippered compartment that provides unrivaled protection for the more fragile items like headphones and hard drives. The Everyday Max Backpack, on the otherhand, is designed for versatility; the Everyday Max Backpack converts to a duffel bag and is stacked with compartments perfect for extended travel or day-to-day use.
