Learn to hunt, because chances are you’ll need the skills soon, in theHunter: Call of the Wild
With things going the way they are, hunting may become more than a hobby and may become a needed survival skill again. Now I’ve played many hunting games at bars and arcades, but let’s face it, those games taught me nothing on how to hunt. Avalanche Studios, Expansive Worlds and astragon Entertainment have released theHunter: Call of the Wild on on digital download and select retailers. theHunter: Call of the Wild seems to virtual embodiment of the intense hunting stories I hear on the television shows I watch from the safety and comfort of my couch. theHunter looks absolutely gorgeous and looks to allow for multiple different techniques to, in multiple vast locations. Hunters can test their skills and their grit against virtual mother nature.
The game is rendered by Apex, Avalanche Studios Open World Engine, and creates a gorgeously realistic world that embodies the beautiful lands of the Pacific North West. Here are some of the excited words from the team behind the game:
“theHunter: Call of the Wild means a lot to us” said Christofer Sundberg, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Avalanche Studios. “Not only is it the first major title that we self-publish since the launch of theHunter Classic in 2009, it’s also the first game to ever be developed using the unique, proprietary Apex engine. The game looks absolutely stunning, and the experience of next-generation open-world hunting is an unforgettable one. We can’t wait to share it with our dedicated community.”
Julia Pfiffer, CEO astragon Entertainment adds: “We are really excited about sharing theHunter: Call of the Wild with all fans of the virtual hunt in cooperation with Avalanche Studios and Expansive Worlds. We are absolutely sure that players will love the immersive gameplay just as much as the lifelike animals and the great variety of usable equipment that will help you trace and catch your prey.”
