Loosely based on the DC Comics property of the same name, Justice League Dark follows John Constantine (Matt Ryan), Zatanna (Camilla Luddington), Batman (Jason O’Mara), Etrigan (Ray Chase) and Deadman (Nicholas Turturro) as they team up against magical and supernatural forces that the Justice League cannot handle.
Led to believe that Felix Faust (Enrico Colantoni) is behind all the issues plaguing the world on a night that only occurs once every hundred years, the reluctant team of heroes unite to save the world.
DC Entertainment and Warner Brothers Animation can virtually do no wrong with these animated features starring all our favorite DC Superheroes and villains. The story, although deviating a tad much from some of the complaints I heard privately from fans, still tells a solid story that deserves a spot on your Blu-ray shelf.
The only real issues with this feature was that like most of the DC animated films, the sound is a little bit off, and on occasion the background noise drowns out the dialogue. Also, as much as we love Matt Ryan in the short-lived, live action Constantine series that we hope CW will resurrect, his voice falls a little flat in comparison to his counterparts through the movie.
Roger Cross does double duty as Green Lantern John Stewart and Swamp Thing, same with Chase who also voices Etrigan’s human counterpart, Jason Blood. Jack “King” Kirby would be proud of what has become of his beloved demon character.
Justice League Dark is an hour and 16 minutes of enjoyment that I will be watching numerous times and is out today on Blu-ray combo pack.

The Verdict
Although the audio is a little off and Matt Ryan’s voice-overs fall a bit flat, Justice League Dark belongs in your DC Animated Universe collection.
