Jonathan Jakubowicz wears many hats. Writer, director, producer, immigrant. The Venezuelan born filmmaker is living the American Dream. He turned heads internationally in 2005, when Secuestro express beat Titanic and The Passion of the Christ for the highest grossing film in the history of Venezuela.
Another milestone in Jakubowicz burgeoning North American career is when Hands of Stone premiered in the Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival 2016, receiving a standing ovation and brought boxing legend Roberto Duran to tears as he relieved his life through the acting talents of Edgar Ramirez, who embodied the man known as Manos De Piedra.
We spoke to Jakubowicz about Hands of Stone which is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
