The Official Schedule of Activities, Hijinks, and Games
1:00-9:00 p.m. PT: Join truTV and thousands of fans at the one-of-a-kind Block Party celebrating all things Impractical Jokers. In addition to a high-flying zipline, a 3D photo experience featuring iconic punishments from the series, custom face painting, a White Castle food truck, exclusive merchandise for sale, and a music set from DJ Cipha Sounds (who is also the host of truTV’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks), this massive block party will also give fans a chance to get up close and personal with some of the show’s most exciting and legendary dares and punishments. Things like:
- Handcuffed to a Mime: An appearance from Q’s favorite co-star, Pierre the Mime (Season 6: Episode 15)
- Scoopski Potato: A themed ball pit celebrating one of the series’ most quotable dares (Season 2: Episode 22)
- Tire Baby: Navigating an obstacle course featuring a fan-favorite prop from the series (Season 5: Episode 26)
- Virtual Reality High Wire Walk: Returning this year with updated elements, a first-hand experience walking the same tightrope the Jokers crossed during their 100th Episode Live Spectacular (Season 4; Episode 26)
4:30-6:00 p.m. PT: An autograph signing with Joe, Murr, Q and Sal!
7:15 p.m. PT: A live presentation of Impractically Speaking the Jokers’ Live Web Show hosted by Casey Jost and sponsored by Mountain Dew
8:00-8:30 p.m. PT: An exclusive viewing of the mid-season premiere of Impractical Jokers ahead of its broadcast debut on August 2.
Fans at the block party will also be the first to experience the upcoming Impractical Jokers: Wheel of Doom mobile game. truTV is partnering with Mountain Dew at the event in San Diego to give fans a chance to test out the game and challenge their friends to top their highest scores. Based on the popular Wheel of Doom prop from the series, users will spin the wheel to complete mini-games and challenges to move through the various levels. Fans in San Diego will be the first to play the mini-game “Cry Diving,” based on one of the fan-favorite punishments (Season 3: Episode 1). But this isn’t just any game demo – this a Dew-fueled challenge! Block party guests who level up and post high scores will see their names listed on a digital leaderboard throughout the day, with the top performers winning Jokers prizes. In addition to sponsoring the game experience at the block party, Mountain Dew will have customized signage, videos, and sampling throughout the event.
Fans heading to the Interactive Zone at Petco Park this year can also experience the Scoopski Potato Food Truck, which will be parked there and serving up Joe’s famous snacks on July 20 and 21 as part of its cross-country tour this summer. The truck will be making strops across the country through the summer, so follow @truTVjokers on Twitter or like the show’s Facebook page for updates on future stops.
All activities are free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
New episodes from Impractical Jokers’ seventh season return on Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on truTV.
